A celebrant is a great option to conduct your wedding ceremony onsite. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to hold legal ceremonies here at Sheepy Meadows but this is something we will continually review. You can see a selection of ceremony options here
Other than catering, you are welcome to bring in your own suppliers. We understand that everyone has their own unique tastes and styles. We will need to see a certificate of liability insurance prior to your wedding from all suppliers. Any electrical equipment will need to have a valid PAT test.
We do have a list of recommended suppliers available if you are looking for some amazing, local suppliers. Click here to view it.
We work exclusively with Saffron Catering for all onsite catering. You can find out more about them and our catering options on our catering page.
You and your chosen suppliers are welcome to start setting up from 10am on the day of your wedding. We have a limited amount of storage onsite, and you are welcome to drop off any small decorations at Sheepy Meadows the day before your wedding and collect them the day after. Any items left onsite are left at the owners risk and we cannot be held liable for loss or damage.
Music can be provided by DJs and acoustic acts and will need to be delivered through our inhouse sound system. Live bands are permitted but must use electric drum kits and go through our speakers, complying with our sound limits.
Our in house sound system is optimised for low noise pollution but keeps the energy high on the dance floor. This is out of respect for our neighbours and the surrounding environment.
We offer corkage on wines, prosecco and some beers and do charge for this service. Corkage is only available for the wedding breakfast and can be discussed further with the catering team. We offer a fully serviced bar with both cash and card payments available and can source specific drinks for your day within reason.
You are welcome to leave cars onsite for the night of your wedding. We ask that all cars are collected by 9am the next day.
As we are a working farm and there is a risk to livestock and wildlife, unfortunately, we don’t allow fireworks, sparklers or Chinese lanterns onsite.
We’re complete dog lovers here, but due to wildlife in the area and the interest of other guests’ safety, only guide dogs are allowed onsite.
We take last orders for drinks at 11:15pm and close the bar at 11.30. We ask all guests that are not staying onsite to have left by 12am.
DJs must finish by 11:30pm. If you choose to have a silent disco this may continue until 12.00am
Suppliers must collect all hired items by the end of the night as we do not have storage for larger items. We have a limited amount of storage onsite, and you are welcome to leave smaller items overnight and collect them the next day. Any items left onsite are left at the owners risk and we cannot be held liable for loss or damage.
We ask that you leave the venue as you found it. We take a £500 security deposit the week before your event which will be retained in the event of any damages.
We welcome glamping supplied by professional glamping providers onsite and can recommend some trusted suppliers. We ask that anyone staying overnight has left by 10am the next day, ensuring that all equipment is collected by your supplier by 12pm.
We cannot facilitate camping onsite.
We have a full list of great local accommodation, some within a mile of the venue. Check it out here.
A damage deposit payment of £450 is required to be paid and cleared by our bank two months prior to your event taking place. The damage deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days of your event if the venue is left in a satisfactory condition and no other costs have been incurred by us or Mythe Farm Ltd. In the event that we suffer any losses, we shall deduct those losses from the damage deposit and if the losses are in excess of the deposit amount, you agree to pay us the difference within 14 days of our invoice for such amount.
